Confused dialing out issues...

ok this the 2nd time i write this message and im not happy so ill type the short version... dmn ie. ok every time i dial out to the net my pc restarts.ive tried msconfig and had a quick look at regedit none work....

help me plz?.......

Machine info:
Machine make and model?
CPU speed?
Amount of RAM?
Any error messages?
Do you get the "Blue Screen Of Death"?

Software info:
What are you dialing? ISP, using speacial ISP software?
What is the machine OS?
What is the OS patch level?
Do you have AV and firewall? Who's?

History:
When did the problem start?
What happened just before problem started?
Did the dial up ever work correctly?

sorri, i forgot = ] .
so here they r,

2.8 ghz @ 2.9 p4 with ht
512 meg ram (2 x 256meg)
1 x 120gb hdd (master)
1x 30gb hdd (slave)
asus mb Is7-e2

no error messages just freezes for like 2 secs then restarts
the only time i get the blue screen "of death" is wen it happened to my other drive, i formatted it and now it blue screens weneva i try to install windows...
isp is ozconnect(ozconnect.net)no software just dialing the number used(and name/pass)
Xp pro sp1 (no patch sp2 slows my pc dwn 4 sum reson)
as for the firewall im bak to using avgfree... i was using kaspersky on the other drive,but lost it wen i formatted.

it started after i updated the vs and disconnected, and tried to reconnect(i kan only b on for 4 hours @ a time and i had been on for 3hrs and 57mins = ])
dial up has been working fine since i formatted this drive.
