nic card install
Comcast came out to install internet connection. They said they couldn't install the nic card in my HP Pavillion because the size was off. Sizes are pretty standard I thought. What do I do now?

Maybe the Tech was not very expierenced?
Maybe your PC does not have an available PCI slot? Maybe you should try a different NIC? Maybe you should use a USB NIC? You give no details of your HP machine (model), no details on how many expansion slots are available, no details on the type of expansion slots available, so it is hard to give good direction. hi michaela miller,
go to HP's website and search for the model of your computer. then post a link of the computer specs here and ill see if you can install your own nic. also, try and check if you have an integrated nic as computer now a days come with nic cards integrated. |
