Cry Verizon DSL

Well I must say that I have had nothing but problems with Verizon DSL since installing XP service pack 2. I receive this error often, "Verizon online servers could not be reached at this time, however you are connected to the internet". I have also had trouble connecting via MSN Premium, saying we were unable to sign you in our sign in servers are having problems are engineers are aware of this and are working diligently on it, you can try signing in later. If the problem persists contact MSN support and give them the code under the butterfly, which is always 23. I've contacted Verizon and they say their engineers are working on these problems, this has been happening for almost a year now its getting really frustrating. Verizon is no help and I don't believe they will ever have a fix to this problem. Does anyone know of a fix or of a resolution to this problem? I grow tired of rebooting my computer several times to establish a connection, thanks in advance.

The fact that Verizon is working on a fix precludes anyone here from attacking the issue. It sounds like it's a network problem at the ISP, nothing you can really do about it except change ISP's.
