Disable Firewall

How do I disable the firewall on my D-Link modem?

The exact model of the modem would help here. I'm assuming that you're talking about a modem/router. If it's a plain modem, there is no firewall. If it's a modem/router, the short answer is, you don't, unless you have another router. You can bridge most modem/routers to eliminate the NAT layer, which it the major firewall component of a SOHO router.
