Best Router for Connecting to VPN?
Hi!!!
Just wanted to ask what will be the best router to use to connect to other network using VPN. My friend has his home office of 10 computers running Windows XP, an ADSL internet connection, internet is shared using 1 of his computer (ICS) through the Xyzel modem provided by the ISP. He ask me for some help, i told him to buy a router (a wired one) not knowing that his partner abroad wanted to do is to have all the 10 computers connect simultaneously to their network. Does all the router out there capable of doing this job? And what is the best router for this job? Thanks!!!

Re: Best Router for Connecting to VPN?
Hi,
If you want to access internet simultaneously in all the computers you need to buy a router (Wired / Wireless). What kind of VPN you are going to configure? Is it a Box - Box or Box - Client? If you want to use BOX - BOX, I would suggest you to buy Netgear Prosafe 0r Linksys Router. Regards, L8ians |

Re: Best Router for Connecting to VPN?
Thanx L8ians for the reply.
I think its like dialing, all the pc will have the vpn dialer (is it the right term for the icon in the network connection for vpn) connecting to server abroad, this is what's on my mind, i guess i'm right, please enlighten me. I only saw wireless routers of linksys, does it still have only wired routers?
