Help!!!!!
Using a Toshiba Satellite notebook...Vista os (I know)...I'm having an internet connection problem...Keeps telling me that one or more of my network adapters are missing...tried everything suggested, but I noticed when I did a ipconfig/all...most of my adapters were read media state...disconnected and my IPConfig was wrong...however...I ran my computer in safe mode with networking and I'm able to connect to the internet just fine...can anyone tell me what's causing this... I know it's not my ethernet cord or modem because I'm using them now on my desktop computer...

If Safe Mode with Networking works, the top suspect is a firewall or other Internet security application blocking your access.
