Macbook will connect, but not PC
I have a Dell Vostro 200 desktop and a Macbook. I just received Cox cable in my home and have my internet service through that. When I connect the ethernet right into my Macbook, it works fine. But when I connect the ethernet into the Dell, it will not connect to the internet. The computer was just connected via Verizon DSL at the old house. So i figure this all has something to do with some kind of settings in the computer or something. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give. Thanks

Reboot the modem after connecting it to the other PC. It is still expecting the MAC of your Mac.
