Exclamation Unable to connectmore than one laptop on my router

Hi,

I've a D-Link WBR 1310 router. I've two laptops. First is a Xp SP3, lenovo and second one is Vista, lenovo.

Both the laptops can connect to my router when only one is connected. The first laptop will be kicked off from router/internet when the second laptop connects to the router through wi-fi/cable. This also happens when the second is already connected and the first one tries to connect to the router.

I'm using WPA security ans MAC address filtering is turned off.

Please let me know what could be wrong.

Re: Unable to connectmore than one laptop on my router

Just to add more findings on this.
The problem happens only if my Vista lenovo laptop is connected or trying to connect. I tried with other VISTA/Xp laptops and they are able to connect along with my XP laptop. And also my VISTa laptop connects fine when it connects to other routers than mine.
Any configuration issue on my router specific to my Vista laptop.

Have you tried changing the channel in the router? Also, try adjusting the antennas towards the computer.
