I have recently moved into a new house and it seems to have come equipped with a box that appears to be some sort of router. I have called telus and they have told me that the only use for this box is for telus TV but I was made by the realtor to believe that it is possible to connect a modem to this box, which in turn sends the signal to each room I have chosen to connect.
So basically what I am asking is: Can the Telus Ortronics box be used to connect wired internet to all my rooms? And if so, how? To make it absolutely clear what I am talking about, I have provided some pictures with the following links. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ronicsBox1.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ronicsBox2.jpg |
