Cannot Log onto Router Configurations Page
Just today, I tried to log onto my Router's (Ambit U10C019 or U10C022, I don't remember, but it's a gateway (modem and router in one) settings page, and I couldn't because I didn't have the right password.
I used to be able to log onto it perfectly (last time I logged on was about a month ago), but today, I just couldn't. The factory default is user/user for basic user configuration (no luck using that, even though it says on the page facotry default is user/user...). The "master admin" mode has user/pw combo as admin/cableroot, but I changed the password and I always successfully log in with that password... Note: I did NOT change the basic user's info at all. I had originally forwarded a port, and it was enabled all along, and today with the help of port testers, it is not opened, so I tried to reopen it, leading to the discovery of the change of password... How could this have happened? And how can I fix it? Any help -> , much appreciated.PS. My internet works fine, I just don't have the "luxury" to change the settings

Re: Cannot Log onto Router Configurations Page
Everytime I type in the wrong password, the prompt box just pops up again. When I click Cancel, a page with this shows up:
HTTP 401 - Unauthorized Authorization is required to access the configuration server. You must enter the correct username and/or password. |
