Can't connect with DSL!
Hello.
I've been using Verizon DSL for nearly a year now, and for the past month or so, I've been having some major trouble with it. Whenever I try to connect to MSN, I always get a message saying "no connection detected" or something along those lines. However, everything is connected perfectly, and my DSL modem has all of its lights turned on correctly. I even checked my network connections, and under "LAN or High-Speed Internet", it says that it is enabled. The weird part is, it isn't only MSN, but everything internet-related. Meaning Mozilla, AIM, Soulseek, etc., so there is definately something wrong with my DSL connection and not just MSN or whatnot. I even called Verizon and they told me that according to their data, I should be able to connect. I'm not exactly an expert with computers, so there could be something obvious I'm doing wrong. Or maybe I need a new DSL modem box? To anyone that might know what I could do, help please! Thanks. |

Hard to tell what's wrong with your Internet connection, but try to restore to an earlier date.
Go to Start, accessories, system tools, system restore. Restore earlier date.
