dropped telnet connections
this may or may not be the right forum, but i think it is
i have a belkin wireless N+ router through a dsl connection on windows vista, anytime i open a telnet based program as long as i send a command or receive one every few seconds it works fine, but if i go for a minute or so without sending or receiving information its like it disconnects, sometimes when i send a command after a few minutes idle it will send the command, sit there for a minute or two, and all the output from the previous few minutes will flood in at once, but sometimes it just straight up disconnects me, i figure its something to do with the security on my router or in windows vista maybe trying to close down the open port when it thinks its not being used or something, i cant figure it out, any help? much appreciated |
