How to install a new modem to access my broadband account? Please help!
I have a Zoom 5506 PCI ADSL modem. I have followed the usual installation and driver configuration procedure - and it all appears to have installed without a problem.
I would now like to make it work with my exiting broadband connection. I am currently accessing my broadband through a Netgear DG834GT modem-router. I have noted all of the details from the current modem's settings. I would like to be able to replicate these, and then use the Zoom modem to automatically log in to my broadband as soon as Windows is started. My current broadband connection details are as follows: Quote:
I would be very grateful for any help in using these settings to make this new PCI modem connect to my broadband internet connection automatically each time Windows starts. So far I have tried every menu and tab within the modem's configuration screens, but cannot see anything that looks familiar. Can anyone help me please? |

Well, page 11 of the user's manual which you provided the link to, shows exactly how to connect.
Have you done this and having problems ? |
