PC reboots after trying to connect (dialup)
My PC goes black and reboots after 'connecting' to internet. (I think)
I dial up, the username and password are verified, then it says 'Registering your computer on network', then it goes black and reboots. The PC connects ok on Broadband, but not dial up. (I need the dialup to work as its going to a dial up home). It was working ok before but I have just had it cleaned out of trojans and spyware. The device manager says the modem is working ok. Taking that all the dialup setting are ok, what else could cause this ?? Thanks for any suggestions. |
