New Member needs help with Westell

Hi Folks, I have a Westell 327W on my computer and two USB 3D Reach wireless adapters on both of my wife's computers. All three working fine. I find my self doing quite a bit of repairs in my garage on other computers (Daughters, Granddaughters, etc.) Naturally this is all free work and so I do not want the expense of buying another wireless adapter but would like to be able to access the Internet from the garage, where I do have a phone jack. I have a new Westell Model E90-610030-06 DSL2+Router/Modem still in the box from Bellsouth and wonder if I can use this to accomplish my goal. I'm not too experienced with modems but have had bad luck when disconnecting one of the 3D Reach adapters and using it on a different computer. They always seem to lose their settings and it takes me forever to get them working again. If someone on this forum can steer me in the right direction I will certainly appreciate it and thank you.

Re: New Member needs help with Westell

You can NOT connect multiple DSL modems to a single phone line! Bite the bullet and buy a wireless bridge, which is the way to solve this issue.
