I understood the izmir and mugla parts as I have transferred my connection from izmir to muğla (two different cities in Türkiye), but what is frankfurt :S
and could u understand why I get the error 101?
I am sure that it is not an inflection, because we have tried with two different laptops, with different antivirus program...

Re: Cannot Access google.com

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.

I've created a new thread for your issue here.

Note: You will need to post complete details of your configuration and your specific issue in this new thread for us to help you.

Thanks for your cooperation.

thanks for your help...

I'm using generally chrome and sometimes explorer, the system I have is windows vista... I have changed my home, so transferred my internet connection from "Izmir" to "Muğla" (two different cities in Turkiye), then I started to have the problem of not being able to enter both to www.google.com and gmail.com . While searching through the net about this problem I have read from this forum that it is possible to understand the problem with the "tracert" report so that what I get. I could guess what the "izmir" and "muğla" parts meant, and also thought "frankfurt" would be the city where google works from (for hotmail it is "amsterdam").

what I couldn't understand is that when I checked the same report for hotmail, which was working without any problem, at the end (10th step - until 30) it was giving an error something like "request time out", while for gmail it was as if connected.

when I try the same thing now, the report is still the same, but the number at the end has changed (7th, 8th, 9th and 10th steps, and number of the sites)

If somebody could explain me this situation (why google and gmail were not oppening - how this problem could be solved) and the commands on the report I would highly be greatful...

P.S.: only with my connection those sites were not openning, because I have asked to a few friends and they told me that they could open the sites. the problem started in the morning and continued for a day, but google started to open at night so I could do my search online. next day all the sites were openning easily.
the error number was 101 [Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.] when I tried to open the sites with chrome... everything (read and write included) in security part was allowed and we have tried to enter the sites with two different laptops with different antivirus programs and the same problem was achieved in both computers.
