help!
I have a Cable Modem, which fits my E-System type computer. I am experiencing problems with connecting myself to and from the internet. I am looking for some advice which will help me to solve this problem. The E-System type machine which i own gets stuck on the IP address even though i have gone via the command prompt (CMD) and try to release it, and when i ping my ip address, i sent 4 packets, and i receive 4 back. how can i get my computer to find a new ip address?

What IP address are you getting?
You won't be able to get a new IP address because your ISP assigns IP to your computer. But to try it you can type in IPCONFIG /RELEASE (IP should change to 0.0.0.0) then type in IPCONFIG /RENEW (and ISP will give you new IP which is the same IP before). |
