Exclamation !!!!!!help!!!!!!!

I have a Cable Modem, which fits my E-System type computer. I am experiencing problems with connecting myself to and from the internet. I am looking for some advice which will help me to solve this problem. The E-System type machine which i own gets stuck on the IP address even though i have gone via the command prompt (CMD) and try to release it, and when i ping my ip address, i sent 4 packets, and i receive 4 back. how can i get my computer to find a new ip address?

Thanks

Re: !!!!!!help!!!!!!!

Perhaps you previously configured a static IP on your esystem before?

Or perhaps you have other network interfaces and are releasing a different one?

Try assigning a new ip address from the command line.
