Netgear Router Randomly Doesnt Connect via Wireless??

Hey, I've never had (much) trouble in the past, and definitely nothing that made me completely stumped.
Basically, We've been on Virgin Media for about 4months now, with a DSL router (Netgear WGR614 v9), and it's been mostly fine, until the other morning..

I'm connected to it via ethernet cable, and my mum's got a Belkin wireless adapter thing on her pc directly below me. I also use the wireless for my Nintendo DS. But the other morning, she couldnt connect to the internet, and after I had a look, it confused me. I hadn't messed with any of the settings, and it was showing that there was signal coming from it (a full 5 bars)
but when i try to connect, it says that it's failed due to an "Unknown problem"

i tried my DS, and that does the same thing, with the error code 51300 (can't connect to the signal or something), although when i search for an access point, it appears with full signal..

can anybody help??
Would be greatly appreciated!! :D

Re: Netgear Router Randomly Doesnt Connect via Wireless??

Who else has access to this Router's admin page?

I would delete the SSID on the router and re-create it.

Try disabling any wireless encryption if you are using it.

Re: Netgear Router Randomly Doesnt Connect via Wireless??

Through the comp which is connected to ur router, access the router setup page, goto channel and ssid, change channel to 1, ssid to any name of ur choice(different name from the one tat u are using now), make sure wireless mode is not off, and see to tat broadcast ssid is checked, click apply changes, now try to connect using ur wireless comp.
