XP cannot connect to internet??
Hi, I have an xp that just doesn't want to connect to the internet. I bought a cheap usb Linksys wireless adapter to connect to this computer i'm using right now. It can physically see the router and whenever i try to connect to the internet it can identify the webpage and all of the toolbars and such but it says that internet explorer cannot display the webpage. It also says that i appear to be connected to the internet. I Pinged my router and it didn't loose any data packets and i even tried downloading a new version of internet explorer (This computer was having problems a few years ago and we were told by geek squad that the hard drive was failing, we found out a few months ago that they were wrong and that it is not failing so we have been trying to get it to work ever since). Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated :D
