Question DSL-G624T need password!

Hi everyone, my son set up the D-Link router years ago, but i didn't know he didn't put a password into it. But now i am using the internet i noticed he as been using it all this time with no password.
Can anyone please help me to put a password onto the D-Link so it is safe to use.
It is an DSL-G624L any help you can give me would be great, many thanks for any help.

I'm sorry, ignore that, my first response assumed this was wireless. You just want a password to connect to the router. I'm having difficulty locating your model through D-Link. If you are directly connected to it, try the following address in your url bar (internet explorer): 192.168.0.1 - if that doesn't work, try 192.168.0.50 - if either of those work, you'll be prompted to enter a user name and password. Unless changed, user is "admin" and password will be blank.

From there you should see the interface that allows you to change router settings.
