Wireless conversion
I have an ADSL connection. The ADSL modem is not wireless. I have bouth a separate wireless router to make the connection wireless. Here's my setup:
Telephone line in ADSL Modem Ethernet cable from LAN port of ADSL modem to LAN port of Wireless Router PCs connecting to wireless router wirelessly My PCs can connect to the wireless router fine. But i'm not able to access the internet. I think I need to fix the connection between the ADSL modem and the wireless router. Can anyone outline if there's anything special I need to do? I have thought to have the wireless interface on 192.168.0.0/24 subnet and the LAN on 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. Further, I'll configure a routing on the wireless router for the internet. Please advise. |
