Modem loss in Internet Cafe between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM

I own an internet cafe consisting of 26 units and i noticed that since we first opened, there is no internet connection every 5:00 to 9:00 PM, or the connection is very slow.. I have tried rebooting the modem and this seems to solve the problem temporarily.. I want this problem to go away permanently because it is very bad for my business if this happens over and over again..

can someone help me please..

Well, you are talking the peak hours of operation for Internet access, this could be as simple as their infrastructure being overloaded.

Since you seem to associate it with rebooting the modem, have you replaced the modem? What is the exact make/model of modem?

Re: Modem loss in Internet Cafe between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM

we tried pinging yahoo, our router and the provider's router.. and we found out that our equipment dont have anything wrong with it.. it always has a reply.. while yahoo and the provider's router gave off "no replies" every few seconds.. i guess we have to talk to the provider.. thanks!
