02 connection manager failed to initialise

Somehow I have locked down my NIC and the 02 connection manager tells me every time i double click on the desktop icon that the application failed to initialise. I can connect to the net via connect on the start menu. I am using a Huawei E160 which although the speeds are nowhere near what they should be seems to be working ok. help!!

Try reinstalling th O2 software.

I have tried to re-install 02 manager and an earlier version of it, but still no luck!
