serial modem
I recently upgraded (tried) a verizon aircard to their new Novatel wireless 727 serial modem on a laptop. Everything worked fine on the installation, however when I connected to the internet, the modem wouldn't get beyond initial connection. It registered up to about 3-5kb packets transferred, and then goes dormant never once allowing webpage loading. Kinda stumped on this one. Got any ideas?

Re: serial modem
Thanks for the input, but I have. I've tried it in another port, unplugging/plugging it back in, reassigning the com number, unload/reloading the software and device. I did notice I couldn't activate the new modem either, perhaps that's the issue?
Thanks |
