cannot see my wireless connections anymore

I have Laptop Alienware: model number D900TBAT-12

RUNNING WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL

I CONNECT TO MY WIRELESS ALL THE TIME, AND NOW I CANNOT. I CAME HOME AND TRIED TO GET ON THE NET, SEEN EVERYONE ELSE ON THE NET, CLICKED ON MY SSID, AND NOW I CANNOT SEE ANYONE ANYMORE, ITS EMPTY. THE ONLY THING THAT I TRIED TO DO WAS CONNECT TO 192.168.1.1, AND NOW EVERYTHING IS NOT SHOWING UP ANYMORE. I'M SURE I PROBABALY MESSED SOMETHING UP, BUT CNNOT FIGURE IT OUT. I AM RUNNING A STRAIGHT CONNECTION RIGHT NOW JUST TO BE CONNECTED. I LOOKED AROUND TO MAKE SURE THT I DIDN'T HIT A SWITCH OR SOMETHING TO TURN IT OFF BUT I DIDN'T(I THINK!) CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT AND HELP ME GET WIRELESS AGAIN?

PS. IT DOESN'T EVEN VIEW NY WIRELESS NETWORKS ANYMORE, ALL I SEE IS A RED X OVER IT?????

In Network Connections, right click on it and select Enable.

Re: cannot see my wireless connections anymore

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc

Please respond to all the following steps.
  1. Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed.
  2. Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed?
  3. Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed?
