Network trouble and disconnect issues

We have recently replaced an aging NETGEAR ethernet switch with a new Linksys rounter on a 3 computer system with Verizon DSL. We were having internet issues with the DSL and Verizon said it was the modem. Not ruling that out. Computers 1 and 2 are using WinVista and computer 3 is running XP64. Not sure if that is an issue or not. Problem is, when connrcted to a game server like Warcraft, yahoo games or Full-Tilt poker, we experience random disconnects on computers 2 and 3. Not computer1. Odd. In the network connection tab in control panel on comp1, there is a Broadband connection as well as a network connection unlike comps 2 and 3 which only show a connection to the network. On the comp3(winxp64), its a little rough matching up since the op systems are different and seems to prompt connections differently if at all. Its driving us mad since being on WOW and being DC'ed every 5-10 min spells certain doom and hatred from other players. We use these computers to play games mostly and a little internet browsing, but mostly gaming. I am losing hair over this as I have spoken to the fine people from Linksys 3 days in a row and have determined that its not a router problem. All computers find the correct IP address and can get on the internet and can play games together. But for only for a few minutes at a time. Like I said, if all 3 comps are on WOW, 2 and 3 disconnect and 1 stays on without issue. Please, i feel that this is a configuration problem somewhere. We dont have the right buttons pushed in some lone tab on some lone page somewhere. I built comp 3 myself to be a bad-a__ed gaming machine but dont know networks or modems at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help me smart people... you're my only hope.
