Linksys wrt54g won't work
So i have Verizon dsl, a Westwell model 6110F, and i try hooking up a linksys WRT54G wireless router but it detects internet but wont work, the modem by itself works fine. i tried calling verizon but they're really just as stupid as i am lol

More information is needed for example was your wireless device previously used on another network?
Does your pc have the correct settings? Is Ip address of device automatically assigned or predetermined |

You have a modem/router, and it's base address is the same as the Linksys you're trying to connect.
You need to turn off DHCP and DNS services and go into VC1 and change 'routed bridge' to just 'bridge'. Once the modem reboots, you should be all set as the modem will now be in pure bridge mode. The IP address for the modem configurator is 192.168.1.1 and the user name is admin and the password is password. Now the router will connect properly to the modem.
