plugging lan to pc leads to mouse stuck up/hangs up
I have a PC with two operating systems-windows 2000 professional -SP 4 and windows XP SP 2 on different drives, and a GLB-502T ADSL2+ Router with BSNL Broad Band connection. It works well under windows 2K os even with internet connection. But under windows XP os, it works well with out internet connection. When the modem is switched on the mouse gets stuck up/hangs up.it works well even if modem is switched on without connecting the LAN cable to PC. Once the Lan is connected the mouse gets stuck up/hang up.
Please advise me how to resolve the problem to make the internet works under Windows XP SP2 OS also.Under phone and Modem options it is not showing as the modem is attached.Under TCP/Ip properties widow it is not allowing to type IP adress etc. Looking forward for sa quick soloution. |

Re: plugging lan to pc leads to mouse stuck up/hangs up
If you are using an onboard network card then try uninstalling the router , reboot and reinstall.
If you are using a network card then move it to another slot. The reason it's happening is they both are trying to use the same address. if you move the card then you change the address.(address= memory) |
