Cannot connect to 100 mbps
I have a Intel(R) 82566DC-2 Gigabit Network Connection ethernet card, a Netgear router and a Gateway computer. The computer is wired to the router.
This morning I was able to connect this new computer to the internet, but it only goes 10 mbps. I have another gateway, which is older, and connect at 100 mbps. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to change the speed? I went to intel's website and updated the driver. When I tried switching from 10 mbps full duplex to 100 mbps (full or half), it says network plug not connected. Any help would be great! I have been trying to connect this computer to the internet for weeks (Vista is not good), and this is the final hurdle. Thanks! |
