Connecting Verizon UM175 Modem to Router

I am currently using a satellite modem connected to a Linksys wireless G broadband router (WRT54GS). I want to convert to the Verizon UM175 Modem which has a USB plug. Normally you plug it into a single PC USB port and you are on the air anywhere - nice. But I want to network this modem at home without having to pay around $250 (at Best Buy) to replace my current router. Is there a less expensive router or adapter available to do this economically?

No can do. If you have a USB only modem, it's not compatible with any standard SOHO router.
