Wireless Router problem
I have problem with my second computer getting on internet. I have linkys router wrt54g model. Was working fine till last week, suddenly stopped working due to power outage. Error message on second computer says a network cable is unplugged. It is not unplugged. When I look for wireless button on bottom right side of second computer it is no longer showing up. I called linkys tech support they couldn't help me and referred me to company called support trix which could charge me $30.00 or more to help resolve. Can anyone help me with this issue ? I don't want to pay if possible.

Re: Wireless Router problem
When you plug an etherent cable into computer do lights come on where you plugged it into? If not it may be that your network card was fried not your router, but to be sure check all the ports on your router with a known good computer to make sure they all link up
