Router password

Hi I am here to ask for help in recovering my router password.
I have put a wpa on my connection and never seemed to bother writing that down (which was a big mistake) but I have searched around the web on how to solve this, but all I can find is to reset the router. But I don't want to do that, is there any other way in retrieving my password without resetting anything?

Re: Router password

Depending on the router sometimes the key is wrote on the bottom of the router or in the manual. If not there is not much else to do other than to reset the router, reseting is easy and setting it back up doesent take long. Also if you can connect to the router via cable you can log into the router via its ip and then goto the wireless page and either view the key or change it

Re: Router password

HI,
If you do not want to reset the router to factory specs and re-enable the WPA password, there is not much we can do for you.

We are not allowed to provide you with a way to circumvent PASSWORDS for any reason!

It is against the RULES

We have no way of knowing if this is your Router or not.

If you (Akogoboom), feel this is unwarranted please PM me (or any MOD/Manager).
We can guide you on how to reset your WPA encryption.

THREAD CLOSED.

Bill
