INTERNET CONNECTIVITY in LAN
Hi,
We have got one ADSL Router & its default IP is 192.168.1.1 and we got LAN with IP 192.168.0.1 & 192.168.0.xxx . My problem is i cannot use the IP 192.168.1.1 as a gateway to our existing computers for accessing internet keeping the same IP series 192.168.0.xxx. All i wanted to know is how to add the ip 192.168.1.1 into our current LAN 192.168.0.XXX. Is their any setting where we need to add 192.168.1.1 into our dns 192.168.0.xxx OR do we need add the ip 192.168.1.1 into the firewall. Early response is appreciated. |

Re: INTERNET CONNECTIVITY in LAN
You need them on the same subnet.
Please describe EXACTLY what you have. Make/model of ALL the network equipment and EXACTLY how it's all connected. How many computers are we talking about, and why not just use the same subnet as the router?

Re: INTERNET CONNECTIVITY in LAN
I'd be thinking a dual-WAN router here. Here's a typical example, there are many: http://www.netgear.com/Products/VPNa...s/FVS124G.aspx
