More info. needed, I'm afraid: the makes, models and OS of the connected computers, and the make and model of the router. Are the connections wired or wireless? Does the cutting out affect Internet connections, networking or both? Is this a new thing, or has the system always had this problem? If the problem is with a wireless connection, try a wired connection, and see if that works.
