Router Troubles

Hi i am having problems with my router where it every now and then cuts out and cant be found. I want to know is it the router or just the computers trying to connect to it? It does happen to all computers around the same time but

More info. needed, I'm afraid: the makes, models and OS of the connected computers, and the make and model of the router. Are the connections wired or wireless? Does the cutting out affect Internet connections, networking or both? Is this a new thing, or has the system always had this problem?

If the problem is with a wireless connection, try a wired connection, and see if that works. In this thread, Johnwill has some good general advice which might get you started
