Keep having to power cycle cable modem and router
Problem:
Been working in the office for 4 months and the internet has been working fine, as of recently we've been having intermittent internet connections where our connection is lost. Here is my setup: cable modem > 4 port wireless router > 10-port switch Attempts to remedy: 1) I will try to use Vista's "Diagnose and Repair" utility, and this will work 50% of the time 2) The other half of the time, the "Diagnose and Repair" does not work and throws this error ![]() To fix it, I have to powercycle the cable modem, router and switch and its fine ![]() What should I do to keep this from happening? |

Well, I'd start by addressing issues that might affect the router.
Some things you can try here.
Many times these measures will resolve a lot of intermittent issues.
