High ping times.

I just rebuilt my computer with a new motherboard and a new quad core processor and my internet connection is lagging compared to what i had before which was a pentium 4 and when i play games on line my ping is really high any insight on what might be going on?

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.
