Re: AM300 with WRT54G - web administration url
How often do you need to update the firmware on that modem? I'd just temporarily connect directly to it with one machine and update it.

Re: AM300 with WRT54G - web administration url
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes I know, If I connect direct then I can access the web admin page of AM300, but that's cumbersome.
Also if I want to use later for some setting change at AM300 (trouble shooting connection issues or allowing a port to be open for gaming..etc) then every time i got to do that. This disrupts those other using the wireless router. I just want to find out, If there is a way that I can use the webadmin page of AM300 through wireless router WRT54G then I don't need to disrupt anybody using the net and I don't have to go through the manual fixing of cables? Thanks. |

Re: AM300 with WRT54G - web administration url
Truthfully, you should be able to. I have Verizon's FiOS router in front of my "real" router with the Verizon router configured as a pass-through. I can access the Verizon router on 192.168.1.1 with no problem, and my network is on the 192.168.0.x subnet.
