Satellite internet on multiple PCs? Is it possible through a router?

I have a question, I recently got satellite internet installed.. and was wondering if it is possible to set it up on multiple PCs via a router or not?
Either having the signal go into the router and out to PCs, or into a computer, out to a router, and into other PCs.

Is this at all possible with satellite internet or broadband?

Im asking this question as I have a router, and not a switch (or hub) which would be easier to set up.
Id appreciate any feedback, TXS!

It depends on what your satellite connection looks like. Many are USB connections, if so you'll probably be stuck using ICS.

If it will connect to a PC on the Ethernet without any special software installed on the PC, it should work with a router.

well, you have to install a software for it with their CD. The thing is, I tried plugging it into the router, and the router out to other PCs, and it doesnt work. What kind of configurations would I need to do it?

I'd have to know a lot more about the specific type of connection. I have never tinkered with satallite Internet, so I'm less than truly expert.

With the Internet connected to a single machine and connected, how about opening a DOS window and typing:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.
