Zoom X4 modem/router used as just a router
Hi, I have a Zoom X4 modem/router, which I no longer use to connect to my ISP. I have recently joined Vonage, who supplied me with a Phone Adapter (D-Link VTA) which only has one internet port.
My question is, is it possible to use the X4 as just a router, in order that I can connect the Vonage Adapter to my PC? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm confused. The D-Link VTA appears to connect to the LAN side of your router, so how did you get it connected without having any router?

Thanks for the reply, johnwill. I have now got the Vonage equipment connected via my ethernet hub, as opposed to the Zoom router/modem. Basically, all it needed was to have some kind of hardware connection with enough sockets to pass through to the NIC.
