loosing connection
im new & my name is jane, so hi to everyone,im not the greatest with computers but i can get by okish,
my problem is this i have a philips snb5600 router (cable) im with virginmedia, now i set my network up with three wireless connections,one being a laptop & two desktops,now everything is fine for hours on end sometimes, then out of the blue connection to the internet has gone,but i can still connect to the routers setup page by typeing 192.168.1.2, connection on the taskbar still says connected,even if i try to repair it, it comes back saying connected,even after a reboot still says connected but cannot get to a web page etc,its nothing to do with a firewall as i turned windows firewall of (yes i remembered to turn it back on,) now this is happening to all the wireless computers, why i realy dont know, i normally have to turn computers off for a few hours before it sorts things out? this so frustrating as i can be talking to my children in australia & bang its gone??? hope someone can help please....Jane |

Some things you can try here.
Many times these measures will resolve a lot of intermittent issues.
