Ok so I need a new router.

Ok so I have tried and tried to fix my router with no succsess (as I have already posted.), so I am now in the market for a new router. But which one should I get I can spend upto about £50, will be sharing it between 4 computers 3 desktops 1 laptop.

With the living patterns of the house hold there is more often then not someone online 24 hours a day. The bandwidth usage is extremely high with file transfers and online gaming so I need a router that is not going to fall over or cut out when there is multiple connections accsess in very different files (i.e. internet, p2p and gaming).

Re: Ok so I need a new router.

Very subjective. Ten answers possibly ten different makes. I have used Zyxel, D-link and Speedtouch Router/modems ADSL+2 , all very good. Never had a prob with any. I have two desktops + a laptop going 16 - 18 hrs a day. Out of the three the Zyxel , just, only because its auto configure. And it cost me £1.00 on Ebay, BRAND NEW!
