Belkin Wireless Gaming Adapter Issues

I've had an xbox 360 for almost a year now without live, and i've finally become sick and tired of not having it. A friend recommended I bought the Belkin Wireless Gaming Adapter ( Here) as he said it was simple to set up and worked perfectly. But as usual with my computer, something has gone wrong.

It all starts during set up, I've put in the installation cd and followed the first 2 steps, to connect the adapter to my pc using the provided ethernet cable, and to connect the adapter to a power supply. The next step is the first in configuring the adapter, I need to select the adapter to configure from the provided list, but the only problem is that the adapter does not show up at all!

To put it simply, it just should appear, it's been connected exactly how it should, and I've followed exactly the same steps as my friend followed, yet this happens.

We tried again on the computer downstairs and the same thing happened, until after a couple of clicks 'back' and 'next' it appeared on the list, but even when we input the SSID of the network and the WPA2 code it still failed to connect, but we cannot even reach this point again anymore. I've tried Belkin Live Support to no avail, and I was going to try again but the support is offline today.

Does anybody have any clue what's going on?

Re: Belkin Wireless Gaming Adapter Issues

Time to call Belkin, it may simply be defective.

Re: Belkin Wireless Gaming Adapter Issues

My dad thinks he can sort the solution tommorow using the router and the computer downstairs, so if that fails no doubt we'll be ringing Belkin :P
