Intel (R) PROSet/ Wireless Adapter Trouble
I bought a gateway Tablet in August of 2006, and recently my computer was slow and had so much data on it that wasnt needed. I re-installed both the operating system disc and applications / drivers disc to basically start fresh. I am trying to get an internet connection via a wireless connection however when I try it tells me that "Intel PROSet/Wireless Software was unable to detect a supported wireless adapter. Please install a supported adapter." WHAT IS A SUPPORTED ADAPTER AND HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? thanks

Re: Intel (R) PROSet/ Wireless Adapter Trouble
You probably removed the wireless network drivers in the process. You need to go to Gateway's support pages and download the drivers for your machine.
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc Please respond to all the following steps.
