Wink problem with my SWCBR-5400 router.

Hello, i have a SWCBR-5400 safecom router and i have a bought a new antenna for it a 12 dBi but when i put it on my siginal seemed to go very bad and somtimes wont even connect. So i thought the antenna was faulty as i bought it from ebay so i tried my old antenna(i think a 3dBi) and that one got an even worse siginal and wouldnt connect. Do i need to upgrade my firmware or somthing. Also i dont know were i can get the latest firmware for a SWCBR-safecom.. there isnt any of the site. and i have checked google. thanks

Maybe it's the receiving computer. Did you try a different wireless computer on it?
