Cant Connect To Internet But Can To Access Point
i got a new linksys range expander and i cant get it to connect to the internet but i can get it to connect to the access point and when i try to repair the connection it tells me it cant get a valid IP so should i try to set a manual IP and if so how would i go about that? the model of range expander is WRE54G Wireless-G Range adapter in my comp is WMP54GS Wireless-G PCI Adapter and i cant remember the acces point but its a few years old with no updates in sofware. also i can get both the range expander and adapter to connect briefly but no more than a few minutes woth out it losing connection. Ive tried changing the security seetings in the linksys site and to no avail im at my wits end with linksys!!!!
also all of the other computers in the house can connect to the internet and they are all wireless with the same routers.
