Re: Linksys Password

Sure, you don't need the CD to do anything to a router.

Open a command prompt and type IPCONFIG

The address of the Default Gateway is the base address of the router, put that into the IE address bar.

Enter the setup name/password and you will be in the web based configuration, I'm assuming you want to change the wireless key, right?

Re: Linksys Password

Specific instructions.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command:

IPCONFIG

The Default Gateway address is the address of the router's setup pages.

Re: Linksys Password

If you think your neighbours are using your wireless network go into the router's home page and see if you have a "Status" button ( I'm telling you this because I have a Linksys router too) or something where you can kick the users of your network or just simply make another network.
