Internet Connection troubles
Hi, I am having trouble with my internet connection, this only started a couple of days ago.
I am using cable internet that connects into a router to a laptop in another room then through a long cable to another router in a different part of the house. I have that routers set up properly to do this and the internet was working fine using that method. The second router is a wireless router and my laptop does connect to the internet through it fine. I have this setup for my desktop computer. If I restart the computer is has internet for awhile then it quits, but utorrent is still downloading from peers. I consider myself more then average in computer knowledge, but this has me stumped. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: Internet Connection troubles
Stop using uTorrent and see if the issue stops. My guess is that it will.

Re: Internet Connection troubles
I turned off utorrent and restarted the computer and waited a few hours, because it took about that long and the internet did not work. I do now that it is something wrong with my computer settings, and not the router.
