TP-LINK W89020G..IP assigning prob..????

hi all

...my TP-LINK modem works fine....but problem is that sometime after doing my work i shutdown my computer n TP-LINK modem aswell ..restarting my computer after 2`~5 hours my TP-LINK modem does not connect me to internet ...i chkd everything n figure out that IP does not assign to my modem...i replace the modem n connect D-link with it n start working fine..it means that problem is not frm the DSL provider ..its within my TP-LINK modem ...so tell me wat to do???

What do you mean "i replace the modem"? Are you putting in a new modem each time?

i hve two modems ...just for chking that my dsl is working or not i plug D-link modem n i was connected to net...

If the D-Link modem works and the other one doesn't, is seems pretty clear that it's broken. I'd say replacement is the option here.

i replaced my modem 2 times n all r having the same prob...i chkd them in a shop n they works perfectly there...!!

Why not just use the D-Link modem?
