Linksys WRT54G No Wireless

Hello,

Everything was working just fine for months. I went on vacation for a week and when I got back my wirless network was down. So I did a normal reboot of everything, but I still have no wireless. My pc is hardwired from the WRT54G router and that connection works fine. My router's internet light is also on. When I go into the linksys connection manager prog and try to resetup the router, it gets to the step where it the router tries to connect to the internet and fails. I also tried a hard reset by holding the reset button. I can get into the config for the router and it sees my isp (Bright House R.R.) but is not transmitting wirelessly. Everything seems to be fine but none of my devices can see the router or my network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Linksys WRT54G No Wireless

I'd reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure. If that doesn't do it, maybe the wireless section of the router has died. Since the wired section works, it's obviously not the ISP or the modem.

That is what I was affraid of. I was hoping someone knew something else. Dang, it's less than a year old!

But why would my router not be able to connect to the internet through the setup program? It's like my router can't see the internet even though the hard wire works and the internet light on the router is on. By the way, I did restore and reconfigure with no luck. Thanks for the help.

Something went south. If it's less than a year old, it's probably under warranty, send it back for replacement.
